Message of Commitment
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with an enormous number of people over my 20 year career and I’ve learned that we are all on our own unique path.
I’ve met people suffering pain along this path and have also seen the incredible power that can be found by simply expressing ourselves in our own unique way.

Joshua Capri
As an educator with 18 years of experience, I noticed increasing emotional health needs among children about ten years ago. Since then, I have focused on integrating emotional health into the curriculum for my students. Little Mountain Wellness is an extension of this work in helping others heal and thrive.

Joshua Capri M.Ed B.Ed.
Director & Founder - Little Mountain Wellness
Joshua Capri is an educator and counsellor dedicated to improving the mental health of those in the community. With over 19 years of experience, Joshua began noticing increasing emotional health needs among adults and children more than a decade ago. This realization sparked a lasting commitment to integrating emotional literacy and preventative mental health measures into curriculum. The approach blends both prevention and treatment of psychological conditions through creative, reflective, and evidence-based approaches for both adults and children.
Joshua has been recognized by parents, teachers, administrators, and school trustees in helping adults and children process grief, navigate trauma, manage ADHD, and lift themselves out of depression. Drawing on his M.Ed research at SFU, Joshua designed the first music program in the North Vancouver School District (NVSD) that embedded emotional literacy into the arts curriculum. Recognized for its significant impact on families, Joshua went on to lead a district-wide initiative infusing emotional health learning outcomes into curriculum in thirteen schools.
Joshua brings warmth, humility, and deep purpose to everything he does. He has presented at the BC Music Educators Conference, professional development sessions for multiple school districts, and to provincial leaders. Little Mountain Wellness is an extension of his commitment to those in need.
